MS 2010. Each package of material has six or more documents. Multiple words have to be replaced in each document. By the time that I get to the next document the item that needs to be replaced is no longer visible in the dropdown so I have to retype the word that needs to be replaced and the replacement word.e.g. The template has DATE in all capital letters so that I can find-and-replace it with the specific date in each document. I do a find-and-replace for the date in document 1, then continue replacing the remaining words. In document 2, I have to retype DATE and the specific date because document 1 had more than four more words to be replaced, so DATE no longer appears as a recent option in the dropdown box. Thanking you in advance for your assistance.

I need help with creating a formula to use for a situation that I have with a excel spreadsheet that my boss gave me today. Here's the situation: Column A has a list of employee names (over 400 of them) now formatted with specific cell colors depending on their department. Columns B thru AC (total of 28 columns) have the names of trainings offered with the employeses that took it listed under them but without the cell colors. I want to be able to take a name from column a and replace all instances of the same name with the new cell color. I started using the find and replace method but with over 400 names that will take a long time. I'm hoping there's a formula that will allow me to change them all at one.

In Excel, I have a list of 1200 items (column B), and each item has a price attached in a different column (column D). I am trying to search for all the items with a specific name in B and change the price in Column D. Using a regular expression of ^([A-Za-z]*), ?([A-Za-z]*) in the find, would find two results. This expression, roughly explained, says find alpha-characters, then a comma and optional space, and then any remaining alpha-characters following. The parentheses indicate capture groups that can be re-used in the replacement value, using $n where n is the order of the capture groups. Running replace all on this find, with $2 $1 in the replace text, would result in the draft:
